It's interesting how Socrates disliked books and writing stuff. Socrates criticizes the idea of writing and thought that writing weakens people's power of memory. But here's the thing, if it wasn't for his students like Plato who wrote down his teachings, no one in the modern world would even know of Socrates' existence.
Anyway, if that's the case, then if you can transport Socrates in our present day, the big 2026,he would've had a stroke because it gets worse :)
Because in our time period, a lot of people can't even think for themselves anymore, a lot of people are becoming more and more dependent on AI, it's fucking disgusting

Side note: Since it is said that Socrates never wrote any of his teachings and stuff, and if most of our knowledge about Socrates were from Plato and other students that may have wrote about him, do we really know who Socrates really was? I mean, we're seeing Socrates in his students' point of view. How accurate is our knowledge about Socrates really is if all we have are second-hand knowledge? —WAIT, WHY IS THIS PROVING HIS POINT?? WTF

Side side note: I don't entirely agree with Socrates on this part. False memory is a thing. But I still stand with the thought that it's depressing how more and more people can't think for themselves anymore because of our overdependency on technology.
